Not long after I got my degree the opportunity came about to purchase a local needlework shop in Columbus, Ohio. My parents bought her house! So you could say the company has come full circle (well almost, my dad still lives in the house, but I live in Columbus.) Most of the Fireside designs reflect a deep love of the land in their magnificent depictions of scenery, plants and animals. The original designer and owner was Rosemary McAllister. I bought the company from Cathy Callery in January 2013. Welcome! My name is Carol Grant and I am so happy to be able to continue Fireside Original’s tradition of making beautiful designs.
